Low activity level radiochemistry research is carried out in the nearby Molecular Imaging Laboratory. Projects are usually undertaken in liason with other departments.

In partnership with Cancer Research UK, also located on the Addenbrooke's Hospital site, a number of tracers are planned, pending grant support.
