Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre

Department of Clinical Neurosciences

The imaging facilities in the WBIC comprise two Siemens 3T scanners, a GE 3.0T PET/MR scanner, a 7T MRI scanner, hyperpolariser and radiochemistry facilities. The majority of the imaging facilities are located within the main WBIC building, with one of the 3T MRI scanners housed within a separate annex.

If you have a project that you want to run within the WBIC please contact the relevant groups as soon as is practical to ensure that your study can be run (e.g. that all MR sequences you need are installed) and that all the necessary approvals are in place (e.g. finances and governance).

Data generated by the WBIC scanners is stored and processed within the High Performance Hub for Clinical Informatics (HPHI), and users of the WBIC should apply for an account in order to get access to data.
